This event aims to:
provide information on the mega programs fueling the development and the growth of the Central New York region, namely the Micron project – along with the infrastructure projects including housing, roads and water/wastewater; and
connect representatives and decision makers of the firms leading the major projects with local small and disadvantaged businesses, including MWBEs and SDVOBs, for subcontracting opportunities.
A key feature of the Chips & Bricks event is curated 10-minute one-on-one meetings between the Vendors and Project representatives. Opportunities to meet potential Vendors enable the Projects to meet their local small business and Social & Economically Disadvantaged Individuals goals. During the event, Vendors will also be able to seek assistance from free resources on things like navigating the contracting process, free business advisory services, lenders, surety bond assistance, and more.
