For decades, the Department of War has partnered with private industry across the United States to deliver essential capabilities to the American warfighter. Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) and Defense Production Act (DPA) funds are fueling a once-in-a-generation effort to rebuild the U.S. Defense Industrial Base.
The mission of the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Industrial Base Policy works with domestic and international partners to forge and sustain a robust, secure, and resilient defense industrial base enabling the warfighter now and in the future. Industrial Base Policy’s three offices work together to ensure a strong defense industrial base.
